Before applying, please review our expectations and job qualifications that must be met below. Most of our families are in South Tampa, and some are in neighboring locations, throughout central Florida.
All our sitters meet the following requirements:
- Love to work with families and kids
- Be at least 18 years old
- Complete phone and in-person interviews
- Provide 3 professional references who are not related to you
- Clean Background Check
- Clean Driving Record
- Have no more than 2 speeding tickets in the last 4 years
- Own a safe vehicle and have a valid driver’s license
- Continuing education or college experience is a plus not required
- Be willing to get CPR and First Aid certified if not already
- Be flexible and available for at least 3 shifts each month
- Have at least 3 years of paid childcare experience
- Students in education, psychology, or nursing are a plus
- Be engaging, trustworthy, and responsible
- Be okay with families using nanny monitor cameras if they choose
- Keep professional social media profiles at all times
- Maintain a professional appearance
- Be legally able to work in the U.S.

Our Process
We are dedicated to connecting families with exceptional nannies. Once we receive your application, we will contact you to schedule an interview, either by phone or via Zoom.
After the interview, we will verify your references and conduct a background check. Upon successful completion of these steps, we will invite you for an in-person interview. If we believe you are the right fit for our team, we will invite you to join us and begin the onboarding process. During onboarding, you will learn all about Tots Luv Childcare, our mission, and how you will become an integral part of our family.
